Schecter Dream Machine Super Strat

A mate asked me to set this up with a lower action, and it was a real pleasure to have it in the house for a week.

Very well made instrument, certainly a player’s Strat. The one piece birds eye maple neck had a un-Fender like flat fingerboard radius, brass nut and chunky frets.

  
The only thing that actually bugged me about this guitar was the truss rod access. Not only is it located at the body end of the neck, but even when you whizz the scratchplate out you have to loosen the neck screws. It made the set up a slow process…
